Layoffs, again

about
We hear this 1-2 times per year. "single time event, thanks for your hard work, please work harder, we can tell you more later"

I'm taking home less now than I did 5 years ago due to increase in benefit cost outweighing the one cost of living increase 2 years ago.

Like many others I am looking for work elsewhere and interviewing.

Most of the work outsourced to the Philippines - sups and managers are so busy trying to coach and fix their constant mistakes that US employees are left without direction.

Poor Executive Management

about
This company lacks the neccessary leadership (specifically within sales) and ultimately will be its demise. There are many review boards available and all of them are synonymous with regards to this poorly managed company. Time and time again, there are clear indicators to the issues and the responsible people for those issues, but Mike Robnson (CEO) chooses to ingnore. Perhaps he is to timid to dump some of his poorly performing staff, however, time is not on his side. He will be forced to change, or I anticipate the board will change him. I suggest starting with sales where the morale is poor, senior management is inexperienced (at least in New York City office). Since the inception of the promotion of our Regional Director-the sales revenue have been on a downward spiral. I personally have never witnessed such a blatant disregard for the employee, lack of training, lack of interpersonal skills, lack of motivation, and overall poor performance at this level of management. Yet, the powers to be allow this to continue, which illustrates further incompetency within the management structure. This company will always have a hard time attracting and retaining quality personell (which is the root of the problems), those of whom posses confidence, experience and business mind will recognize the shortfalls quickly and depart just as fast.

Poorly Managed Company

about
For three years I have been involved with the sales organization of this company, in retrospect, I made a bad decision in accepting the sales position. While I have been successful in my sales efforts and have wreaked the financial rewards, overall the company is poorly managed. Operationally we are unable to provision service turn-up in a timely manner. Poor customer service, and ongoing mis-billing issues are the most common customer complaints which for the most part are ignored. The problems are ongoing with no apparent efforts to remedy. Specifically, within sales, the management at the executive VP level is of poor business practice. Where a lack of professionalism, experience, core selling strategies, and reward/recognition continue to hinder this company's performance in the marketplace. Should no change of leadership take place, demise is definate. I personally am on the hunt for other opportunities
