I have been fortunate to have worked with several transportation companies in brokerage. I am finding Con-way Multimodal to be one of the more professional and true to the employee companies I have seen since in 3PL brokerage firms. It is nice to want to go to work.

They just got rid of 200 IT workers a couple of days ago.
All due to outsourcing. That is why they want to be non-union, so they can fire every American worker. Pretty soon, they will be using Mexicans to drive their trucks.

They are doing it to cut costs. There will be much more cost cutting in the future. They get rid of people at the bottom while those on top get bonuses.

That is just how their corporate culture operates.

well i have worked for the company for a year now. left to go to swift and called and asked to go back to conway after 1 week. that tell you anything? good pay, good miles, and treated like a adult. if you dont like it with conway you probably wont like any job.
