Life is like a stock market, sharp ups and downs and your character is tested, and it is verified in accordance to the response you provide to such evens and odds. I’ve personally appreciated the statement indefinite time in my career with the organization for over a period of like 15 years, but my true recognition didn’t come earlier than January this year. I’ve also seen the night over melt down of far-east countries’ stock markets, but it never scared me, and honestly speaking, why should I? Didn’t belong to me, though the company has gone through a heck of a time.

uncertainty at peak!

A lot of uncertainty from the top down, and most rank-and-file employees feel very out of the loop and not very empowered. Career advancement can be painfully slow and a very political process. Cash compensation is fair at best. HR is having a difficult time keeping up with company growth, which is creating a backload of work. Employee concerns about being overworked have not been fully addressed and typically misdirected by management.

Crap to be laid off

The company is top heavy and overstaffed, if management cuts the fat and challenge and motivate workers, glory days can probably return to our company. It has been tough time in Franklin since recession started. We have had couple of good folks laid off but the crap is still there. I don't complain the system as I have also seen good days here.

I have had a very good time at Franklin Resources – been here since 2006. I have created strong friendships and working relations with my co-workers. Even though Franklin is not as good as it used to be, (and all long term employees gripe about that), our salary/benefits package is still a very good. There is a stock investment program in which we can purchase BEN at a 15% discount, a profit sharing 401 K with a company match up to 2.5%, shorter work days and generous vacation times. Overall - a fun place to work and yes, must add, the facilities are very good.

Good Company

about
I have been employed at Franklin Resources for 2 years now and I love working here. The pay is great with good balance between work and life. Their main strength is that their inter-departmental coordination is flawless and because of that this company has done so well in such a short time. The only downside is that you often end up feeling like a small fish in a huge pond.
