Due to recent stuff it seems that Goodyear Tire & Rubber is undergoing a cultural shift between old and new ways of "doing business" and managing the workforce. Work environment can be noisy and sometimes it is hard to work with people of a diverse background and qualifications. Recently people have been laid off and the morale has dramatically gone down. People already had complaints about management, this layoff process ads insult to injury.

Good place to work

As an employee, I am proud to see that Goodyear is one of those organizations that never compromise when it comes to quality. Not only do we use the latest, up to date technology but we have a very capable work force that assures quality is maintained. The senior management listens to its employees and tries to resolve these. Overall this is a very good place to work.
