What a magic to turn them around so quickly!

Well, the company is ranked the best (or at least one of the best) everywhere and it has a Credo that everyone admires. However, the reality does not match the reputation. If you are mediocre and want something reasonably good, by all means try to get a position here. If you are bright and want real success, please look somewhere else. Being a big company, it is very political here, at least in the group I work for. It does not matter if you are talented if your boss does not like you for any reason (sometimes jealousy). Managers are good at building un-necessary stress around you so you feel miserable if you dare to be creative and ambitious. Several previously highly performing people have been forced to leave due to "performance issues".

I love working here, my boss is great, i get to work from home sometimes. I don't find it stressful but then again i have only been with JnJ for 2 months, but what job is not stressful sometimes. The people are great almost everyone says good morning here witch is a good thing. I got this contract job through an agency and while i think I should be making more I am so happy for this job.

Some politics but it is manageable

Compensation is ok, but could be better. Managment has the attitude of be greatful to have a job. Consolidation activities are stressful and can be disruptive to work environment. Company is not proactive about fixing problems and potential problems are ignored until they become nearly catastrophic.

Poor Guy - sounds like J&J hung him out to dry!! Judge says corrupt practices were going on before he even joined - and he made zilch himself out of custom and practice of paying commissions. 12 months in prison???? Doesn't make sense.

Layoffs at J&J Ortho Clinical

I happened to know very well many people that were laid off at Ortho Clinical Diagnostics R&D. I can't believe how many excellent people were let go and how many low performers were untouched. Even more surprising is that some were hired back to do almost the same job !. It does not seem that corporate J&J knows what took place at Ortho Clinical Diagnostics.

its funny how the executives in new Brunswick have parties as we speak at least once a week spending thousands and they keep laying off people
