Kodak Layoff - better option

More than half of the work force in some areas has been let go and those who remain are working harder than ever trying to keep things afloat.
The economic crises is hitting all sectors of US industry and companies like Kodak who are hit in more ways than one has had to make reduction on large scale. I have luckily survived layoffs but this life is more miserable. I wish I had got laid off and received benefit package for that.
