No respect for their workers.

Kohl's does not respect their workers. They treat them horrible and work them to death, to the point workers are getting hurt left and right because Kohl's loads so much on them. Then they get upset if you happen to get hurt in the job. They cuts hours so bad. They talk down to you and I hear so much cursing is so offensive. It's the most negative work environment have ever work for. Not enough help in te department to get the job done.

Cutting back part time hours when you only work 8 hours a week constant folding picking up other departments when your own department needs work lying ,deception constant talk about getting credits emails hiring more people just to get a kickback from government so the rest of the good seasoned workers get no hours, demeaning place to work!

Ridiculous

The most incompetent and stupid people can make it to the top of a store in the Kohl's world. So not only will you be making minimum wage, but you'll be treated like dirt by your idiot supervisors and managers. If you aren't getting credit and e-mail, you're given absolutely no recognition, regardless of how much work you do for the store in other ways. The franchise can afford to pay its employees more, but they won't. Hours are totally inconsistent, unpredictable and you can go from 30 hours a week to 4 hours a week in a snap. Kohl's cares more about money and credit than they do about their own employees.

Kohl's layoffs discussion

At the Kohl's store I am at, they haven't had any layoffs in a while, but they have been cutting peoples' hours. At one time, I was averaging at least 20 hours a week, but now I've been averaging 4 hours per week. I'd quit Kohl's to look for another job, but I get my health benefits there, though I am currently looking for alternatives to Kohl's.

kohls hours

The only full time positions as are the dept superviosr, area supervisor and excutives. Unless some in one of those positions quits or gets promoted or transferred forget getting 40 hours unless its Xmas. Some managers will schedule according to how many credit aps you get as they want the max on their shift but it is unfair and very discrimating to this .
