A horror of a company to work for. This company preaches its iCARE principles, yet doesn't practice what they preach. McKesson gobbles up company after company, only to destroy and offshore jobs. This company lies to their employees and to their clients and customers. Oh, yes, you can feel free to complain about management. BUT, you will suffer the consequences. The pay is insulting. Corporate employees do much better, but if you are a subsidiary, look out. Our clients keep running away, yet McKesson stands firm with its offshoring. The CEO is the highest-paid CEO. He boasts about the billions of dollars that McKesson pulls in. Yet, most employees in my office are earning less than $13/hour. If McKesson handles your medical billing, beware....your information is being sent to India!

The Orlando D.C is not managed well at all. They treat their employees like crap. You are forced to work overtime and if you refuse, you get "points". If you get 9 points they fire you. Working 16hr days with 2 breaks is unacceptable. They seem to encourage lazy people and let the hard workers do everything. I worked my ass off for 9 months, asking about benefits all the way. Working over 8hr a day. They finally offered me full time but I had to work in extended care, which I know nothing about. They claimed primary care had no openings for full time, yet they hire part time people on a monthly basis. I took it because I felt I deserved the benefits. After working from 2pm till 5am, I finally just left after they said I couldn't. So, if you want to work like a slave and get treated like shit give Mckesson a try!! Or if you are a lazy fuck then its a perfect job for you!

My team was told this week that we are being laid off. Management will not tell us anything about severance or stay on bonus, then when we called HR to find out details about the layoff we got in trouble by management. I don't understand why they are keeping everything a secret. I need to know how to plan for my family! I have a son that has kidney problems.

McKesson hiring process is strange offer you a job and then don't hear from them for weeks. Waiting on background and drug testing to come back. Then why offer the job.

I had opened up a new medical practice 2008 and the physician selected Mckesson Practice Partner for our software. We have had trouble since day one! The support system is terrible. When you call support for help you can tell the support person does not know what they are doing. For one question you will be on the telephone for 1 to 1.5 hours. Second, it take 6 months to get an upgrade. You will be signed a sale person and mine was George....he will never call you! We have a IT company that does quarter reviews on our computers and they help us more than McKesson. Third, we paid for our support yearly and they place our account on hold. It has been two months now and our account is still on hold. Please, if you are looking to purchase anew software for your medical practice....save the headache and go somewhere else.
