The previous comments resonate with me. I was well-paid and highly rated on my performance at Mylan. Could have stayed forever. I quit because I was so ashamed of the quality of what we were forced to roll out and not question. The company seems to prefer either consultants or employees they control because of sponsorships, etc. - ie, no questions asked. And they seem strangely indifferent to the value (lack thereof) of the crap that many of the consultants are delivering. Avoid this company if you are a professional with integrity. You will be miserable.

I joined 3 months back and got very good recognition on my first month work. I tried to do some advancements, avoid duplication of work and professional environment. In that regard, I contacted my boss and the very next week, I got laid off with no proper reason for the termination. The same thing happened to other person whom I replaced his position. I regret of moving from a full time job at big company to Mylan. The environment is very unethical and no professional environment. What is the point of talking about Severence, Insurance and other things supporting things, when they hire and terminate candidates who put lot of hopes and expectations on their new jobs, particularly in my case just leaving a full time job from reputed company and joining this low standard company.

If you have any sense of a moral compass do not apply here. The more you kiss up and mount up face time the better your chances. Merit doesn't hold up here. HR is in the back pockets of those using intimidation and public ridicule to make others feel worthless. If you are good looking young female be afraid. There are wolves all over. A senior executive was recently escorted to the gate for making unwanted advances.

While I don't have any strong negative feelings the person before me is correct in at least one respect. Mylan is a big chaotic machine growing faster than its ability to handle. Everyone scrambles around in a confused atmosphere trying to get all the paperwork correct while just as important other items go unattended. It seems that Mylans philosophy is to keep hiring more and more people in a chaotic attempt to somehow get it "right" rather than expect employees to take a certain level of ownership and responsibility. Just my take on it.

Do you ever wonder why there are so many Mylan accounting jobs on the boards? Because their management sux. They have a very high turnover rate and nobody from the inside is even remotely interested. It is management by intimidation. It is a hostile work environment where you can do no right. They are ran by the good old boys. If you want balance in life don't apply there. They will issue you a life if they want you to have one. There is not a single employee there that was present 12 months ago.
