layoffs

When you work for a company for many years over 30, you are high on the food chain and you have devoted your entire life, missed your children growing up for the company and because you are the highest paid in bad economic times and new management comes in and they feel threatened by you, you are the one layed off, not the relatives of other managers but you. The experience PB throws away to save a dollar is beyond me, but, I have to say it was the best thing that ever happened to me. I have my life back.

I came in fit, knowledgeable, and motivated to this company and left with less. While any company has flaws, PBPS has been going just downhill since I got hired. They decline knowledgeable applicants while advance ignorance and promote laziness. The management does not see what occurs, nor cares what goes on in their building and you can be moved around to suit any needs of "the company's best interest". HR has nearly completely vanished to a point where they outsource it. While there may be above average benefits that can lap over to cover future needs, once they let you go you lose it all and your stuck with the injury's they left you with.

Worst company I have ever worked for.

I have been in the workforce for over 25 years, and I can honestly say without a doubt that this is the worst company I have ever worked for in my life.

There should be laws that protect employees from being treated the way they are treated here on a regular basis. This company pays extremely low and rarely offers raises (years) despite good performance. When and if you do get a raise, it will be in form of pennies.

The company does not listen to employee feedback but instead takes advice from managers that have no idea what they are doing. This is probably because of the low pay and given the fact they have to scrape the bottom of the barrel to find managers/supervisors willing to work for so little. Many of these people would have a hard time finding equivalent work elsewhere as they simply do not have the right skills or experience.

If you are thinking of working here, keep in mind you are joining a dying industry that is comparable to a company that sells film cameras or VHS tapes. Pitney Bowes took too long to see the writing on the wall and change with the times, and they are now trying to reinvent themselves with low paid inexperienced workers.

At this rate I expect to see them in serious financial trouble within the next 2-5 years.

Pitney Bowes Laying off in NOIDA

Hi,
Pitney bowes is laying off employees in NOIDA. In Dec 2012 more than 50 employees have been asked to leave.

Please do not join this company as it is going through a bad phase and the future here is very uncertain.

Terrible place

I've been with PB for 6 years. Terrible place. Hardly any room for advancement. You're simply just a puppet. My boss has control issues, which is not resolved by upper management. Corporate continually screws over the little guy. You're better off flipping burgers.

I worked at PB in the mail area for Microsoft (Driver -Delivery) Worst place I ever worked. Microsoft part of it was cool, but the PB part of it was sad. Employees sleeping around, yup, one got transferred to International she knows who she is... Bad management, and now they are part time in order to cut benefits. The PC recycle part of PB was steeling from Microsoft, employees that is and they just transferred a few around to cover it up. Oh its OK to steel the recycle stuff and resell it on ebay as long as it does not get carried away. Mail room, break this, who cares about that package, late deliveries because some lazy employees and bad management (Mark). I am glad to be gone and the pay was bad, and yes, the 10 cent raises every year maybe 25 cents if you brown nose just right or sleep with the right person (She knows who she is)...

Bad service for what I'm buying

We asked for a Fuser Tuesday. It's Friday and my REP Luis will not provide a tracking number. We are close to not being able to print. Did it ship? Will it ship?

* Lack of communication
* When you get communication it's not what I want or need to tell the users the part is on the way.
* Toners leak causing service calls to be required. Bad workmanship.
* Driving us to leave

Pitney Bowes

This is the absolute worst company to deal with. You have to use their paper, labels, ink etc, for any equipment you lease from them and all the supplies are way overpriced. then when your lease is up you have to use their preferred shipper to send their stuff back to them at extremely high prices. If you don't use the "preferred shipper" then you will be charged for any damages, and you know damn well since you won't be there when they recieve the equipment it will be damaged somehow some way. All their customer service lines go to a foriegn country with people who have no clue at all what they are doing. Worst company ever.
