Recently, HR and top management of kuching has made a lot of bad decisions...lunch card, lunch hour, clocking system... worst thing, HR director like Arif did not even follow the rules set.... how can you expect your employees to be convinced when you have 2 different sets of rule? One for HR director/mgnt (elite) and the other for the employees?

New HR policy! Lunch card! No...it is not free lunch but used to tracked the employees who go out for lunch. Genius HR Director! Mr Arif! What a JOKER!

I come from Batam, one of Sanmina-Employee, since 2003 i already join Sanmina-SCI Batam. I remember Sanmina-SCI Batam established started with 1 line SMT and just one model only BABS, running one floor only, year to year this company growing up into 3 floor with many models running & significant benefit. But this situation not be accompanied by Indonesian local employee welfare. Till now management just pay us $155/month without any housing allowance. We have tried to negotiate our demands but there is no response from plant manager & local human resources, 3 times we already held negotiation without any good deal. Actually i have an email account in sanmina-sci corporate but already block by Batam management, we have tried to inform by OPEN DOOR

Its funny because i have just read a review on Sanmina-Sci amd it saying they dont hire temps...true...I am a temp who has been laid off numerous times and never even concidered for hire but...yes the employees don't get raises and getting your money back from them is like pulling teeth...give em a reciept and youll never hear about it, I have gotten a raise as a temp every time I go back...I could financially run the place better than the people who do now and the gossip (as everywhere u go) is outrageous, they are two-faced and quick to stab you in the back, I have been to the hr dept on numerous occasions of false accuasions about me of completely childish actions, this is definetly one company I think undercover boss tv show would highly benefeit from, I love the relaxing environment and go-at-your-own-pace to ensure quality work ethic and flexibility for time seeing as how some of us have families and certain needs arise they give you the oppurtunity to now wash the other hand so to speak....I love my job and the people I work with, they have become my family and it has been a blessing and generally a healthy place for me to grow
