I worked there as a cabin crew and I really loved my job. I didn't see any reason of my layoff. But I got job somewhere else on the same position with more compensation.

Layoffs to cut cost

The company's current strategic direction -- to reduce costs by every means possible (primarily layoffs, outsourcing, and attrition) in order to generate revenue is threatening employees throughout the company. They already have announced that they would cut 3000 jobs and gather more cash to compensate current losses. Everybody fears that 3000 is a large number and there are higher possibilities for their names to be included.
