I am really surprised by the negative comments about this great company. Everyone has a war story to tell, but my experiences with USA Truck have been great. I have worked there for over five years and have loved it. Occassional disagreements with dispatchers occur in all trucking companies. I guess it is worth noting that most of the negative posts are from FORMER employees who obviously have some sort of ax to grind, so clearly want to trash someone. Objectively, the company has an open door policy that they really adhere to. I talk to upper management as much as i need to, and they really listen to what i have to say. As far as management experience, they are relatively young (most are in their 40"s, if you consider that young) but all of them have spent their careers in the transportation industry. Many good things are happening at USA Truck that will make it an even better company. The attack on 'ethics' is not supported by anything factual. I have never been asked to do anything unethical, nor have i seen anything unethical happen at USA Truck. Safety is a priority and they work hard to make it a safe place to work. USA Truck is very big on accountability. If you are professional and do a good job, you will reap the rewards. Like all companies, USA truck is in business to make a profit. It is my job as a professional and part of the team to help with that. Those not on the same page need to move on. No need to trash a great company simply because you didn't fit in. If you are a believer in the virtue of hard work and doing things the right way, give this company a try. I think you will be happy with the USA Truck experience.
