Xerox

about
I have worked for the company for almost 20 years. Also there have been some challenges, overall a good company to work for. There was a recent adjustment to the pension benefits but manageable.

Rick Sellers---Thank god he's gone as VP!

about
I am sure I am not the only one who is happy that Rick Sellers was packaged out of his position as VP of Pacific Operations.
He practically desolated a once very strong office with his style. He seems so socially awkward and probably a fair bit misogynistic.
It was widely known that No One trusted the man. Plus he brought in a supporting cast of yes men that did his dirty work such as his manager of specialist and his controller. He managed by time on his watch vs. effectiveness through his people. Xerox HO made a great decision cutting off the head of the snake to try and rebuild this area of the business

latest layoffs

about
What can you say about a company that penalizes its employees for work being done by an off shore resource which has consistently billed for writing the same piece of bad code and then sells those employees to the same company that has generated the costs over-runs with poor quality work in the first place? Hope you didn't buy one of their copiers...

The days of being proud to work for Xerox are gone. There was a time when Xerox aimed to be the best in the industry, now average is good enough.

All of you Guys!
Stand up to your rights to be on the job. Layoffs ain't doing well to us... We want no severance, nothing else but our jobs secure and pay released.

great company

about
I started with Xerox in 1998. Great company to work for. As far as retiring, I have a pension plus matching 401K. Based on the past 10 years earning, savings, 401K, I should be able to retire in 14 years.
Look at how long most employees have been with Xerox. That says it all.

The Manager

about
The worst I had for the last two years..
Has not personality but want to show he has it by wearing a tie everyday. I know it all. He wants to play professional but, he could by playing not only but his political game.
The company is doing buy pioried he says but that's not thrue they just do not want to give rises at all..

I thought for a while it was the best job I've ever had. then I discovered that they reward unwavering commitments by laying off their hardest workers.
