1 star is too generous. My daughter is 8 years old and currently attending 2nd grade (her 2nd year) at Adams. 1st grade, in it's entirety, was very satisfactory. This schoool is terrible. Staff is very rude, unorganized, paper work gets misplaced, and students are left in the main office for more than an hour before they are attended to. Slave wages, no respect for the staff or children,NO benefits

This daycare tryes to pretend to be a nursery school. They hier people with felonys and teenagers are hired as teachers. There is 1 person there being investigated for abusing the babies ! OMG! I just can't take another year in here! While I like most of my co-workers and I love teaching at-risk kids I can NOT handle the beauracracy. This year I have 40 kindergarteners and no-aide. My favorite teacher!

I have been at Wilkinson for four years. I started there in 3rd grade. Third grade was by far my favorite year. I had the best teacher, fantastic friends and even a boyfriend. Twin Rivers USD is a new conglomerate district as of July 1st 2008. Elementary teachers are now receiving worse benefit packages, less (if any, I get zero!) prep time, more contact minutes with students, less respect, less budget, and more students ON TOP OF the standard "teach to the test" No Child Left Behind Act pressure.
