This school is HORRIBLE! Save your money and go to a proper college. The instructors are horrible and do not care, the staff is extremely young and inexperienced. The only staff that is great at what they do are the recruiters that make the school sound fantastic until they get tour money than they dont care. My instructor was Wendy Scott, she was horrible and mean! Not to mention she continuously bashed the school and another NUC instructor all the time-great example! They promise you placements but they get you into horrible units half of which arent even hiring they do it because Stenberg hands out promotions and gift certificates to the hospital staff and preceptors. The grad ceremony is a joke they dont even feed you, and for 13 grand they really should wouldnt you say?!?! The computers NEVER worked, oh and they sold us books we DIDNT even use!!!!!! Please please save your money and go to a proper college.

Stenberg likes to appear that they have high standards and requires students to provide so many patients of their own. Then they would wash their hands off because they didn't want to take part in any responsibility in providing help to give students the required number of patients. How can this be fair?

I have been thinking about taking the Psychiatric nursing course at Stenberg.... I was about to apply until I read all these post's. Any suggestions as to what to do? Any success stories about this program?
